What is the Federation Kenyans in France Association?
KENFRA is a community organization that brings together Kenyans living in France. We promote Kenyan culture, support newcomers, and strengthen connections between Kenyans in France and back home.
Who can join the association?
Membership is open to all Kenyans living in France and friends of Kenya who share our mission.
How can I become a member?
Register online through our membership form. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with payment and membership details for your personal space.
Does KENFRA organize events?
Yes! We celebrate Kenyan holidays, organize meet-ups, and host events to promote our culture. Everyone is welcome to celebrate and learn about Kenyan culture.
I’m moving to France how can KENFRA help me settle in?
We provide guidance for newcomers, including help with looking accommodation, paperwork insights, and connecting with local Kenyan networks.
Are there Kenyan community groups in different cities?
Yes! We have regional networks across Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, and Marseille among other cities. We normally do BBQs in these cities and have final main one in Paris.
How can Kenyan students apply to French universities?
Applications are made through Campus France. KENFRA together with KSAF can help guide you through the process. We don’t offer scholarships, but we share opportunities from French and Kenyan institutions and Europe at large.
Can KENFRA help me find job opportunities in France?
We share job listings through various kenyan whatsapp groups and those interested can apply and be in the French job market.
